Fiona has devoted many years to art creation and education, focusing on exploring and developing ceramics as an artistic language medium.
Her works have been exhibited locally and overseas many times, and are widely collected by museums and private sectors. She has participated in more than 50 solo and joint exhibitions as well as art projects of various kinds over the years. In 2015 she was invited to participate in the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale in Japan, which saw her instilling new and artistic life into a dilapidated house in the field. She has also been invited to artist-in-residence programmes across the world, which allowed her to set foot in countries such as Australia, Canada, Germany and Japan. In 2000, she received the Starr Fellowship Award from the Asian Cultural Council to further her studies in New York, USA.
Fiona has been elected a member of the International Academy of Ceramics in Geneva since 2007. She was named the Hong Kong Arts Development Award Artist of the Year 2017 in the category of Visual Arts, and was presented the Outstanding Contribution to the Development of Arts and Culture Award by the Home Affairs Bureau in the same year. In 2018, her ceramic work “Blue Wings” was acquired by the British Museum.
