It is considered to be the world’s longest-running street artwork and will bounce around Hong Kong landmarks. In collaboration with HKAC, the Hong Kong Art School (HKAS) and HKAS alumni, local contemporary artist Kiesly Tsang will create a site-specific installation at HKAC called “Between Walls”. Kiesly is a Hong Kong-born multidisciplinary artist👩🎨 whose works explore the essence of life, time, memory, community, and environment. Tsang’s art challenges traditional discursive approaches by drawing from diverse research in cultural studies, photography, philosophy, science, and spirituality. “Between Walls” is an installation that celebrates The Red Ball Project in Hong Kong. By utilizing red balls and string, this installation creates an intimate space within the common area, encourage participants reflect on their relationship with the city and a moment of stillness.
