Hong Kong Art School Showcase Series @ Jockey Club Atrium
This series consisted of four showcases, which were curated by Subject Coordinators / Lecturers of Hong Kong Art School with specialization correspondingly in the following four major disciplines: Ceramics, Painting, Photography and Sculpture.
The Jockey Club Atrium might be a challenging space for showcasing artworks, however it was exactly this challenge that ignites the interest of the curators. Alumni and students of Hong Kong Art School were invited to make use of this space with their creative thoughts and touches, turning it into a showcasing area full of experimental and inspiring discoveries.
Ceramics Showcase @ Jockey Club Atrium — Hong Kong Colours
46 current and former teachers and students from the Hong Kong Art School collected samples of clay from various locations throughout the city and created a collage which tells different stories with the most truthful assortment of colours of Hong Kong.
