With the generous and passionate support from donors coming from different sectors, we were very proud to be able to present a number of scholarships and prizes for our graduating students during the Opening Ceremony of the Graduation Exhibition for the Bachelor of Arts (Fine Art) programme this year.
Mr. Jerry Kwan Memorial Scholarship
5 graduating students of the Bachelor of Arts (Fine Art) programme were awarded the 2016 Mr. Jerry Kwan Memorial Scholarship:

Renita CHEUNG, majoring in Ceramics
Regina HO, majoring in Painting
YIU Chi Leung, majoring in Painting
LO Yuet Mei, majoring in Photography
With an anonymous support from the Hong Kong Art School alumni, the “Mr. Jerry Kwan Memorial Scholarship” has been established since 2015 in memory of a local artist, also a former teaching staff of Hong Kong Art School, Mr. Jerry Kwan, it aims at encouraging the graduating students of the BAFA programme for their continual development in art after their graduation.
Nikon Fine Art Photography Prize
LO Yuet Mei, majoring in Photography
A Nikon D7200 Digital SLR Camera w/AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-140mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR Kit, with a value of HKD11,980, was presented to the winner by Nikon Hong Kong Ltd.
The prize was established to encourage students whose works were presented in photographic forms and in the form of video works.
Giant Year Gallery Award
Connie TSANG, majoring in Ceramics
The award is kindly sponsored by the Giant Year Gallery, with an aim to encourage students majoring in ceramics with outstanding academic accomplishment and to enable them to further explore in ceramic art.

Spring Workshop Award
One of the graduating students will have the chance to take part in the art residency project offered by the Spring Workshop.
Aesop Award
Australian skincare brand, Aesop, will support 5 of our graduating students to join the exhibition to be hosted by Aesop in this coming May, and to showcase their works at Aesop’s local outlets.
